CURRICULUM / CURSUS

Our French program is composed of 18 progressive levels, ranging from absolute beginner to advanced levels for fluent speakers and writers.

In addition to these levels, École Napoléon offers specialized classes at all levels, depending on learners’ needs.

An entrance French test prior to registration is required to ensure that each student is placed at the appropriate level.

École Napoléon does not mix the learning of the French language with French culture.

We focus on the French language itself. Once the language is mastered, culture becomes naturally accessible through travel, reading, and independent exploration.

Language Skills

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced learner, you must take this test to join our classes.

This French test includes questions of increasing difficulty and lasts a maximum of 25 minutes.

This test will primarily assess your reading and listening comprehension, as well as your grammar knowledge. It consists of multiple-choice questions, image-based expression, and listening comprehension based on dialogues.

After completing the test, your results will be analyzed by a specialized French teacher and communicated to you. You will receive an evaluation of your level and the schedule for our classes that correspond to it.

Please do not use books, dictionaries, translators, or any other aids. This will complicate our assessment and you risk being placed in an inappropriate class.
